Etrieve/Softdocs: How to manually create a lookup

Please see the attached screenshots to review the process.

1. Navigate to an Unfiled document that’s waiting for a Lookup value. You’ll see the empty Lookup key field waiting for their new values.

2. Click on the + symbol next to the Lookup to expand it and you’ll now see all of the required fields highlighted in red outlines. Remember that these values will be used to create the folders that will be seen in Content.

3. Now you simply need to add all of the information that is needed plus any other values that are available. Click on the save icon to finish. The eraser icon will clear your details in case you need to start over and the X will discard everything. If you add your Lookup but realize there’s a problem, you can always update the values to correct anything.

4. You’ve completed everything and should see your document filed in the tree. That’s it, you’re all done creating a Lookup manually.
