Last Updated 4 years ago
In this article we will go through the steps of Video Settings which includes selecting multiple cameras, quality options, and background lighting.
Step 1.) Participate in a zoom meeting or create a zoom meeting.
Step 2.) Once part of a zoom meeting or have created one, toward the bottom Left-hand corner Left-click the Arrow by the Video Icon.

Step 3.) A popup screen will appear with options on selecting a camera, choose virtual background..., choose video filter..., video settings...
Selecting a Camera:
The option to select a camera is a good way to have options from multiple cameras that are attached to your pc as long as windows recognizes them as a camera.

Choose Virtual Background..:
By selecting this option a new window will appear called, "Settings" the settings window will automatically take the user to the "Background & Filters" tab where the user can select what kind of virtual background to choose from (Note: You must have a modern PC for the CPU of the computer to handle virtual backgrounds). This is nice to be able to mask your background to a more appealing background.

Choose Video Filter...:
By selecting this option a new window will appear called, "Settings" the settings window will automatically take the user to the "Background & Filters" tab where the user can select what kind of video filter they want their ambient light to be like, this is presented by artificial lighting to create a specific environment for the quality of skin color, background color etc. This takes place of traditional lights in a office to have the light present a unique color while doing conferences etc.

Video Settings...:
By selecting this option a new window will appear called, "Settings" the settings window will automatically take the user to the "Video" tab where it presents more advanced options for the quality of video they want to present to other users on the zoom meeting.

This concludes going through the settings for Video in Zoom. If any issues arise please put in an IT ticket and consult with the IT department.
