Support: How do I find my computer's name?

There are a couple ways to view your computer's name. At WNCC we use these names whenever talking about your computer. Use this document to find out how to view your computer's name.
Asset Tag
This method is the easiest to use. On your computer, usually on the top, is a sticker that says "Property of WNCC", this is the asset tag that has your machines name on it. Sometimes we will need the 5 digit number at the end of the name. Other times we might need the full name.
File Explorer
To begin, open your file explorer. Right click on "This PC" and then click on "Properties" as shown below.

On the next screen, as shown below you will be presented with the Device Name which is your computer name.
